Our Celtic Sea Salt is unrefined, harvested by hand from the mineral rich waters of the Guérande Peninsula in Brittany, France.
The Salt marshes are protected natural area rich in biodiversity and refuge for various plant and animal species.  
This protected coastal ecosystem is known for producing some of the world's finest mineral-rich salts.

What makes our Celtic Sea Salt Special?

Hand-Harvested and Ethically Sourced

Our salt is collected using traditional methods unchanged for centuries that allow the Sun, the Wind and natural evaporation to gently crystalize the sea salt. This process preserves vital minerals and gives the salt its grey hue and rich flavor profile compared to highly processed table Salt.
They use an active filtration system, designed to remove foreign particles and contaminants, transfers seawater between ponds with precision. For example, one filter allows only bottom-layer seawater to pass to the next pond, while another permits only mid-layer seawater to move forward, using materials like sand for filtration

Mineral-Rich and Unrefined

Natural Salt. Contains just 71-74% sodium chloride compared to table salt's 98%. It is a treasure trove of bioavailable minerals such as sulfates, magnesium, potassium, calcium, iron, zinc and more.

Fine and Coarse for Use

The Coarse salt ( Gros sel) - Larger crystals dissolve with heat and moisture, adding vital nutrients and rich flavor to your diet.  Ideal for cooking, brining, crusted roasts, pickling and artisanal baking. Use in water for pasta and potatoes to add flavor at the core.
The Fine Salt (fleur de Sel) is famous for its delicate, light, flaky texture. Chefs use for finishing dishes like salads, steaks and desserts. A pinch on chocolate or caramel desserts elevates sweetness, while a few grains in sugary coffee cuts bitterness.
